How much is the security deposit?
Typical security deposit is one month’s rent.

There is a $50 application fee for each tenant and each guarantor; if applicable. We accept cashier’s checks, personal checks or money orders. Cash is not accepted.
PMC runs a complete background and credit check on each applicant and guarantor through First Advantage SafeRent.
We offer one-year leases. After you fulfill your first one-year lease, you can then renew for another full year or you have the option to renew for a shorter term for an additional monthly fee. Renewals typically incur increases which vary and are determined by current market rates. Short term furnished leases available through Oakwood Corporate Housing.
Amenities included in your rent are a state-of-the art fitness center, bicycle storage on every floor and 24 hour front desk services.
PMCProperty Group requires a full month’s rent up front when you sign your lease in certified funds only. Rent is always due on the first of the month so the second month you will pay a pro-rated amount. This pro-rated amount will be equal to the number of days you lived in your unit the first month.
We do allow dogs and cats here at 201 Stanwix. There is a one time $250 non refundable pet fee.
Can I use my security deposit as my last month’s rent?
No, the security deposit cannot be used towards your last month’s rent. Your security deposit is used for any property damage that you may incur. Security deposits are refunded 45 days after the end of the lease in ONE check only with all residents’ names listed in the pay to line. Separate checks are not issued.
The security deposit will be refunded minus any charges within 45 days from the end of the lease.
All residents and guarantors are responsible for rent through the end of the lease unless a roommate release addendum is signed by all parties. Roommates can be added to the lease as well, as long as all parties agree. Roommate additions must go through the same application process as the original residents.
PMC does not allow subletting.
Rent is due on the first of each month. After the 5th, a 5% late fee is assessed.
The security deposit and first month’s rent must be paid in cashier’s check or money order only. Once you move in personal checks or online banking may be used. Cash is not accepted for any payment. All rent payments, online or check, must have the building and apartment letter as well as residents last name noted in the memo line.
